The Trauma Program Manager (RN) provides leadership and oversight of the trauma program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while driving quality improvement, patient outcomes, and program growth within a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center.

Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center. The hospital offers advanced care that includes a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center and spacious and comfortable labor and delivery units. Additional services include high-quality care in programs such as cardiology, orthopedics, stroke and emergency medicine. Join our team!

  • Minimum Requirements
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
    • Experience:
      • 3 years' related experience in emergency or trauma nursing; minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
      • Knowledge of team building, systems thinking, complex problem solving, negotiating and influencing; change and conflict management; data analysis; coaching and mentoring, strategic planning, business strategy development.
      • Computer skills required.
    • Licensure/Certifications:Current or ability to obtain, Arizona RN License.Current TNCC
  • Preferred Requirements:
    • Experience:5 years' related experience; 3 years supervisory experience
    • Master's in Nursing-MSN
    • Prior trauma program leadership/coordination experience preferred
    • Knowledge of ACS standards and trauma registry processes
    • Preferred certifications: TCRN, CEN, CCRN

  • Support survey readiness, accreditation, and community outreach
