Position Overview Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Work Schedule: Monday - Friday evenings; Saturday & Sunday all day (hours vary based on event schedules and facility needs) Weekly Hours: 15-30 hours per week (hours vary based on event schedules and facility needs) Position Overview We are seeking assertive, organized, and leadership-minded individuals to join our team as an ARC Court Supervisor. In this role, you will oversee daily court operations, manage on-floor support staff, and act as the initial point of contact for tournament directors, coaches, and patrons. You will ensure that safety protocols are strictly enforced, event schedules run on time, and support staff effectively maintain court cleanliness and setup

This position is ideal for individuals with strong problem-solving skills looking for an active, impactful leadership role in a fast-paced athletic environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Assist staff to ensure court setups, cleanings, and teardowns are executed correctly and efficiently. Act as the first line of defense for rule enforcement, managing disputes or policy violations firmly and professionally with players, coaches, and spectators.

Coordinate directly with court rental users & tournament hosts to keep games running on schedule and manage smooth transitions between games. Oversee court safety, respond to injuries or emergencies, complete incident reports, and addressing of any floor or equipment hazards. Manage shift logistics, including opening procedures, court readiness inspections, facility lockdowns, and securing all equipment at the end of the night.

Perform routine audits of all athletic gear, nets, and hoops, reporting maintenance needs or safety liabilities to the Facility Manager. Qualifications and Skills Minimum Qualifications & Skills Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous experience in a leadership, supervisory, or customer-facing role (sports or recreation environment preferred).

Understanding of tournament structures and sports rules (basketball, volleyball, pickleball, futsal) to effectively manage court schedules. Exceptional conflict resolution and communication skills to handle high-stress situations with professionalism. Strong decision-making ability to manage staff and resolve facility emergencies independently.

Additional Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and actively monitor multiple courts for long periods of time. Ability to assist staff with lifting, pushing, or carrying sports equipment. Ensure punctual arrival for early morning facility openings or late-night closing and lockdown procedures.
