Job description

About the Role

Glenwood Hot Springs Resort — home of the world's largest hot springs pool — is looking for a Line Cook who thrives in a busy, high-volume kitchen. You'll cook made-to-order food for guests visiting from all over the world, keep your station clean and stocked, and be a dependable part of a team that has each other's backs. If you take pride in showing up, working hard, and putting out consistent food, we want to meet you.

What You'll Do

  • Work the line during high-volume service — grill, sauté, fry, and assemble orders quickly and accurately to recipe and portion standards
  • Handle daily prep: slicing, portioning, and setting up your station before service
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards — proper storage temps, safe handling, clean surfaces, clean station
  • Own opening and closing duties: station setup, breakdown, cleaning, restocking, and temp logs
  • Communicate and work as a team — call out orders, cover for teammates, jump in where needed
  • Help receive, check in, and store deliveries and assist with inventory

What We're Looking For

  • Experience cooking on the line in a high-volume kitchen (restaurant, resort, or similar)
  • Reliable and hardworking — you show up on time, every time, ready to go
  • Solid understanding of food prep fundamentals and food safety practices (ServSafe® certification a plus — we'll help you get it if you don't have it)
  • A team player with a great attitude, even when it's slammed
  • Flexible schedule — able to work the 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift, including weekends and holidays
  • Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lbs

Why Glenwood Hot Springs

  • Full-time, year-round work — stable hours, no seasonal layoff
  • Daytime schedule — done by 7:00 PM, no late-night closes
  • Hot springs pool pass for you and your family, plus employee discounts on food, retail, and lodging
  • Tuition reimbursement program and real opportunities to grow with a historic Colorado resort operating since 1888

Pay & Benefits

$23–$25/hour, depending on experience, plus pooled tips, full-time benefits, and a hot springs pool pass for you and your family.
