Job description

 Finisher – Metal Tube Manufacturing
 Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
 Location: Statesville, NC
 Pay: $18.00 per hour
 Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Friday overtime may be available/required based on production needs

Job Summary:
 We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Finisher to join a metal tube manufacturing operation in Statesville, NC. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity paying $18.00 per hour. The Finisher will work with metal tubes and pipes, operate and monitor production machinery, process material according to production requirements, and perform quality checks on finished products. This is a hot and very loud manufacturing environment. Approximately two weeks of training will be provided, after which the employee will be expected to perform the job independently.
The temporary period is approximately 600 hours before consideration for permanent employment. Permanent placement is based on attendance, job performance, production needs, and meeting company expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
 • Process metal tubes and pipes through production machinery
 • Operate and monitor machinery to ensure proper and efficient operation
 • Check machines during production and report operating issues or abnormalities
 • Perform quality checks on processed metal tubes and pipes
 • Identify defects or quality issues and notify the appropriate personnel
 • Ensure processed material meets production and quality standards
 • Handle and move metal materials throughout the production process
 • Maintain a clean and organized work area
 • Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
 • Work safely around loud machinery and in a hot manufacturing environment
 • Meet production, quality, and attendance expectations
 • Perform additional production duties as assigned


Required Qualifications:
 • Ability to work Monday – Thursday from 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
 • Ability to work Friday overtime when required by production needs
 • Comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment
 • Comfortable working around very loud machinery
 • Ability to stand and work for extended periods
 • Ability to follow detailed instructions and production procedures
 • Strong attention to detail when performing quality checks
 • Reliable attendance and punctuality
 • Ability to safely work around machinery and manufacturing equipment
 • Willingness to learn machine operation and production processes
 • Ability to successfully complete approximately two weeks of training
 • Willingness to work the approximately 600-hour temporary period before consideration for permanent employment


Preferred Qualifications:
 • Previous manufacturing or production experience
 • Previous machine operation experience
 • Experience working with metal, tubes, pipes, or similar materials
 • Previous experience performing quality inspections
 • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
