Site: Credit Valley Hospital (Must be able to work at all three sites as assigned. The Hospital retains the right to change assigned work location to any other THP site either permanently or temporarily based on operational needs. As part of our commitment to flexibility and growth, you may be required to cross-train in at least one other modality to support operational needs across THP)
Hours of Work/Shift: All Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends & On-call as required); 37.5 hours per week

Position Summary:ย 

  • Performs routine and specialized CT procedures
  • Ability to work with all areas to ensure quality patient focused care
  • Assist in the ongoing quality assurance programย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย 
  • Facilitates work area assignments
  • Works in conjunction with other team members and Resource Technologist cooperatively to prioritize, coordinate and integrate workloads
  • Coordinate troubleshooting of equipment
  • Ensure proper stocking of rooms
  • Function with other diagnostic imaging team members to monitor and optimize use of resources
  • Support a customer-focused environment
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:ย 

  • Candidates must possess current certification in Diagnostic Radiography from a recognized academic institution and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Candidates must be registered with the CMRITO
  • Minimum of 1 years related experience in CT
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to stay current within the profession
  • Preference will be given to candidates with hospital experienceย 
  • Satisfactory attendance and performance record required
  • Preference will be given to technologists who have successfully completed the Computed Tomography Imaging Certification (CTIC)
