Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service by serving as the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance and scheduling services
• Schedule initial appointments for Outpatient and Psychiatric Services while ensuring accurate and efficient calendar management
• Assess client needs, including crisis-related situations, and route calls appropriately to ensure timely support
• Answer incoming calls and connect clients with the appropriate staff, department, or resource
• Verify insurance eligibility and referral information using designated software systems and online tools
• Maintain accurate client records, activity logs, reports, and tracking systems
• Send appointment reminders, letters, and other correspondence to support client engagement and attendance
• Protect client privacy by adhering to HIPAA requirements and confidentiality standards
• Support department operations by completing additional duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent typing and computer proficiency
• Ability to work independently with minimal day-to-day supervision while effectively managing new assignments
Additional Qualifications:
• Must possess a strong customer service orientation
• Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced call center environment while contributing as a team player
• Flexibility to support multiple locations as needed
• Reliable transportation required
• Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance required
• Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect screening, and fingerprint check
Physical Requirements
• Perform sedentary work involving exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently
