Responsibilities

  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment.
  • Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
  • Conduct investigations and inquiries as directed by the Surveillance Manager.
  • Produces reports on all investigations.
  • Troubleshoot, repair and/or replace all malfunctioning CCTV equipment in order to keep the Surveillance Department in compliance with all regulatory statues, laws and Internal Controls
  • Strong computer use/troubleshooting experience is essential.
  • Develop and maintain a regular maintenance/cleaning schedule of all CCTV equipment to include cameras, lenses and any other related equipment.
  • Develop and manage a current equipment malfunction and repair log to include any equipment beyond repair that requires replacement.
  • Develop and manage a current equipment inventory list.
  • Be able to obtain Synectics digital system installer rating upon completion of company sponsored training.
  • When not performing in a Technician capacity, may be assigned to fill in as a Surveillance Agent if needed.
  • Able to climb ladders and utilize hydraulic lifts to heights of up to 50 feet.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Must enjoy hosting others.
  • Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the installation of CCTV cameras and equipment, alarm systems, digital recording systems or experience as a low voltage electrician. Also, a good understanding of computers is essential.
  • Working knowledge of surveillance equipment and digital recording systems. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs.  Must be able to read and interpret wiring schematics when necessary.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must have good handwriting.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in vary work areas such as confined spaces.
