Job description

Corvid Technologies seeks qualified candidates to join the Launch Services Group. Applicants should have a minimum of five years experience working with ordnance and ordnance systems. Applicants should also hold the required DoD Explosive Safety Board sanctioned explosives training or certification received from related Military Occupational Specialty. All necessary ordnance qualifications and certifications must be met.
REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in ordnance systems (specifically in solid rocket motors)
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Experience with ordnance maintenance, upgrades, modifications, and inspections
  • Ability develop and follow ordnance handling procedures as required by sponsoring
  • Ability to develop training materials and train junior ordnance personnel
  • Ability to diagnose the deficiencies and malfunctions of ordnance systems.
  • Skill and knowledge to operate simple machine shop and hand tools.
  • Day-to-day informal and formal report generation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Military experience, particularly related to ordnance handling
  • Broad knowledge in the assembly and operation of complex and interrelated mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components of Weapons Systems.
  • Bachelor's degree
