Job description

Summer Ride Staff
Join the Mountain Adventure Team!
We are looking for energetic, safety-minded individuals to join our team for the 2026 season. As part of our Ride Staff, you are the face of the resort, ensuring our guests have a safe and fun experience on our mountain attractions this summer.
Pay Rate: $15.75 / hour
Schedule & Availability:
  • Employment Period: Mid-May through October.
  • Hours: Weekends and holidays; full-time hours available starting late June.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Summer Operations include, but are not limited to:
  • Greet guests, check tickets, and assist with general resort information.
  • Ensure all guests meet height, weight, and age requirements for each ride.
  • Operate amusement devices safely and properly according to the operator's manual and 520 CMR 5.00.
  • Instruct guests on how to use activities safely; monitor guests during activities to ensure safe participation.
  • Assist guests as they enter, exit, load, and unload the chairlift and all amusement rides.
  • Facilitate proper harnessing of guests, according to manufacturer guidelines.
  • Load and offload alpine sleds from the chairlift.
  • Assist with base area upkeep to ensure a professional resort atmosphere.

Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
  • Able to read and comprehend safety and operational guidelines and regulations.
  • Able to move to and from different workstations and able to move arms and hands.
  • Able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in variable weather.
  • Able to lift between 35 and 45 pounds.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a positive guest experience.
  • Punctual and prepared to perform work duties.
  • Able to work under minimum supervision.
  • Able to pass a Criminal Background Check (CORI).
