2026 Summer Sailing Camp Counselor โ€“ Key Biscayne Yacht Club

Position: Summer Camp Counselor
Location: Key Biscayne Yacht Club
Dates: June 8 โ€“ August 7, 2026 (Two-week sessions)
Schedule: Monday โ€“ Friday, full-day availability preferred

Overview:
Key Biscayne Yacht Club is looking for enthusiastic and responsible Summer Camp Counselors (ages 16โ€“18) to support our 2026 Sailing Summer Camp. Counselors will help ensure camper safety, assist instructors, and engage campers in fun and educational sailing activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist instructors with sailing lessons and on-water activities.
  • Take campers out on Hobie Cats and other small sailboats under supervision.
  • Provide extra safety support for all on-water and shore-based activities.
  • Supervise and engage campers, fostering a fun, supportive, and safe environment.
  • Help with setup, cleanup, and general camp operations.

Requirements:

  • Age: 16โ€“18 years old.
  • Some sailing experience preferred.
  • Certifications required: CPR, SafeSport, and valid Boaterโ€™s License.
  • Level 1 sailing certification is not required but highly desirable.
  • Ability to work well with children and follow instructions from instructors.
  • Available to work full-time during camp sessions.
