About the Role
Are you a highly organized, execution-focused professional who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume environments? We're looking for a Data Center Proposal Coordinator to drive the end-to-end pursuit process for hyperscale data center projects across structured cabling, fiber optic, and low-voltage infrastructure.
In this role, you'll serve as the central point of coordination across estimating, operations, vendors, and leadership-ensuring every proposal is complete, competitive, and delivered on time. You'll bring structure to complex bid environments, align teams around scope and strategy, and play a key role in winning high-impact projects.

What You'll Do - Drive Execution. Deliver Winning Outcomes.
  • Own and lead the full proposal lifecycle from bid release through final submission.
  • Coordinate estimating, operations, and leadership to ensure complete scope coverage and aligned pricing strategy.
  • Establish and manage bid schedules, deadlines, and deliverables across all stakeholders.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope requirements, gaps, and risks.
  • Support development of conceptual budgets, hard bids, and negotiated proposals.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor engagement, including bid outreach, leveling, and scope validation.
  • Ensure all proposal components-technical, commercial, and documentation-are accurate, complete, and compliant.
  • Maintain proposal logs, tracking tools, and historical data to support future bids and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate internal bid reviews, including scope alignment, risk assessment, and submission readiness.
  • Support client engagement through pre-bid meetings, walkthroughs, and clarifications.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and competitive differentiation.
  • Continuously improve proposal processes, templates, and standards to increase efficiency and quality.

What You Bring
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple bids in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and telecom infrastructure designs.
  • Working knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optic systems, and data center environments.
  • Understanding of estimating workflows, cost structures, and subcontractor bid processes.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical, operational, and executive teams.
  • Experience identifying risks, scope gaps, and inconsistencies in bid documents.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam (or similar), and proposal/estimating tools.
  • High level of accountability, professionalism, and commitment to quality deliverables.

Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in construction preconstruction, estimating coordination, or proposal management.
  • Experience supporting hyperscale or mission-critical data center projects strongly preferred.
  • Background in telecommunications, structured cabling, or low-voltage systems preferred.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
