Immediate Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist Opening for Wisconsin License
Location: Wisconsin, Remote
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Consult Liaison Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to provide telehealth psychiatric care for patients of all ages in Wisconsin. This remote Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist role is open immediately to remote providers with an active Wisconsin license and offers a flexible schedule and is ideal for a provider interested in providing consult liaison services for a hospital with a daily census of 4-6 patients that is expected to increase over the coming year.
This Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist role is currently classified as a 1099 contractor position with a pay per patient model, but IPC is open to discussion of other contract models. Rates are currently set at $180 per initial consultation and $65 per follow-up.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform psychiatric evaluations and manage medications for patients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults).
  • Provide consult liaison services to support staff and ensure timely psychiatric interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in line with clinical and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply a patient-centered approach to care, tailoring treatment plans to meet individual needs and preferences.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in Wisconsin preferred (not required).
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Experience with telepsychiatry and managing diverse, multi-age patient populations is highly preferred.
  • Must be able to work remotely; candidates can reside anywhere in the U.S. (Wisconsin licensure preferred).
