Job Summary:
Intellisoft Technologies is looking for a Python Data Engineer to join their team in Dallas. The role involves developing automation solutions within complex, enterprise-scale environments, utilizing Python and various ecosystem tools for data processing and workflow orchestration.
Responsibilities:
• developing automation solutions within complex, enterprise-scale environments
• designing and maintaining automated business processes, including scripting, task scheduling, error handling, logging, and performance optimization
• writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and troubleshooting performance issues
• working with Snowflake, including Snowflake SQL, data pipeline interactions, and integration with Python
• collaborating with business process owners to translate manual workflows into fully automated, fault-tolerant solutions
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5 years professional experience developing automation solutions within complex, enterprise-scale environments
• Strong proficiency with Python ecosystem tools and libraries used for automation, data processing, API integration, and workflow orchestration (e.g., pandas, SQL Alchemy, requests, PyTest)
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining automated business processes, including scripting, task scheduling, error handling, logging, and performance optimization
• Solid working knowledge of SQL Server writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and troubleshooting performance issues
• Practical experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake SQL, data pipeline interactions, and integration with Python
• Experience working with enterprise data environments, version control (Git), CICD pipelines, and secure deployment practices
• Familiarity with cloud or hybrid environments (AWS) and integrating Python automations with cloud-based services
• Ability to collaborate with business process owners to translate manual workflows into fully automated, fault-tolerant solutions
