TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Irvine, California. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting their overall quality of life through specific interventions and comprehensive care strategies.

Located within a vibrant community, TheraSense Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is a PT-owned orthopedic outpatient facility dedicated to delivering high-quality rehabilitative care. Our expansive 5,000 square foot center is equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine technology and features an inviting atmosphere for our patients. We primarily serve individuals with private medical insurance, ensuring that our clients receive personalized and effective treatment tailored to their needs.

Work Environment

This role will be conducted onsite in our advanced rehabilitation facility, where youโ€™ll work alongside a collaborative team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). Our work environment fosters teamwork, innovation, and continuous professional growth, enhancing the overall patient experience. Regular team meetings and case discussions allow for shared knowledge, improving treatment methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify and prioritize patients' goals and treatment needs.
  • Manage a caseload of patients, dedicating one hour of focused attention to each individual.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, adhering to best practices.
  • Utilize evidence-based exercises and interventions to enhance patients' mobility and independence.
  • Foster patient motivation by setting achievable milestones and providing ongoing encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care approaches that meet the diverse needs of patients.
  • Thoroughly document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in our EMR Software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Evaluate and adapt treatment strategies based on patient progress, promoting ongoing improvement.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At TheraSense, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, offering tailored rehabilitation solutions. Our patients range from athletes needing sports-specific rehabilitation, to older adults recovering from surgeries or managing chronic conditions. A significant aspect of your role will be to reduce dependency on medication and explore alternative solutions, guiding patients towards holistic health and mobility.

Qualifications
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • Must possess a valid California Physical Therapist license.
  • Maintains a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions.
  • Proficient in manual therapy techniques and committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong capability in designing and overseeing exercise interventions tailored to patientsโ€™ specific needs.
  • Experience utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT or similar platforms, to record and track patient progress.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, particularly within a private practice environment.
  • Demonstrated success in patient engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in creating wellness programs that foster health maintenance in a therapeutic context.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
