What You'll DoDesign, Develop & Integrate Advanced Software
  • Design, develop, and test embedded real-time software components and functionality.
  • Support the creation and refinement of software functional requirements.
  • Develop robust, reliable software solutions for complex aerospace applications.
  • Define and maintain internal and external software interfaces.
Drive Software Architecture & Innovation
  • Support software architecture trade studies and technical evaluations.
  • Enhance and revise existing software architectures to support new capabilities and requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to implement innovative software solutions.
Ensure Quality Through Testing & Validation
  • Apply test-driven development methodologies to improve software reliability and performance.
  • Conduct software testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and integration activities.
  • Participate in and support peer reviews throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Validate software functionality within high-fidelity laboratory environments integrated with aircraft hardware.

Required QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in:

Experience & Technical Skills
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience in embedded (real-time) software development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Ada programming language.
  • Experience working within Agile development environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and integration processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges.
Security Requirements
  • Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
  • This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
