Work Schedule

This is a fulltime, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 10 or more years of experience in software engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of AWS experience including EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3, with hands-on work in cloud-native application development.
  • 5 or more years of experience in Java and Spring Boot for building enterprise backend services.
  • 2 or more years of experience with Angular for developing modern, responsive web applications.
  • 2 or more years of PostgreSQL expertise including schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning for high-volume transactional systems.
  • 5 or more years of experience with large system design, database optimization, and high-volume data processing.

Additional Job Qualifications:

  • Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs that are secure, performant, and maintainable.
  • HIPAA compliance knowledge: Understanding of healthcare data security, privacy regulations, and audit trail requirements.
  • Strong grasp of distributed caching strategies using Redis/ElastiCache.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
  • Track record of delivering complex software projects in production environments serving multiple customers.
