Position Description: Altamira Technologies Corporation is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer/Integrator to fulfill a role with a small multi-functional team to support dynamic, mission-critical programs. Our ideal candidate would possess a broad range of engineering skills including the ability to work closely with developers, customers, users, and partners to rapidly define, design, document, and verify solutions to support a broad range of customer needs.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Communicate (through written documents and verbal briefs) with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Find innovative solutions to technical architecture, dataflow, and system-performance issues in secure environments
  • Derive requirements from high level mission needs
  • Design interfaces involving disparate data formats and system protocols
  • Document system architectures and processes
  • Design ontologies and/or normalization approaches that support dynamic data transformations
  • Define and document O&M SOPs
  • Define verification criteria and test plans
  • Perform system integration, and/or verification and validation tasks
  • Configure network interfaces and OS-level firewalls
  • Develop user and support level training guides
Education and Experience
  • Posses a minimum of a TOP SECRET clearance
  • Ten (10) years of experience in the areas described in the position description, with emphasis on:
    • Documenting system build and operational procedures
    • Performing system integration, and/or verification and validation tasks
    • Automating deployment and configuration changes for scalability and reproducibility using tools such as bash-scripts or python scripts
  • Familiarity with technologies/programminglanguages such as Java, Elastic, Docker, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with software development, installation, and integration activities
Abilities and Competencies
  • Self-motivated and eager to work intently to satisfy mission requirements
  • Adaptable and has the desire to maintain our company culture
  • Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written communications
  • Ability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed

The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the scope of the position, relevant experience, education, certifications, internal equity, customer contractual requirements, security clearance requirements, and other legitimate business considerations.
