Position Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer (Tech Lead), you will play a critical role in leading end-to-end software engineering activities while providing strong technical direction and hands-on contribution. In this role, you will apply engineering principles to the design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions. You will play a vital role in technical decision-making, mentoring engineers, ensuring quality across deliverables, and driving innovation, efficiency, and future-ready technology solutions within our organization.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end software engineering activities, including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, and application support
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the software engineering team to support team growth and development
  • Design and build scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions, driving adoption of microservices architecture and engineering best practices
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in coding, debugging, testing, and performance tuning, while performing thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to design standards and quality benchmarks
  • Lead and support test automation, DevOps, and CI/CD initiatives, guiding development teams in functional, regression, and system integration testing
  • Collaborate effectively with global, cross-functional teams to identify and proactively remove technical blockers and risks
  • Build reusable components, shared frameworks, and utilities to improve overall development efficiency and capabilities
  • Evaluate new tools, technologies, and techniques to enhance engineering capability and influence architectural decisions

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; OR 4+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with Java and J2EE
  • 3+ years of experience working with Spring Framework and Hibernate
  • 2+ years of experience with microservices architecture, web services, and messaging tools (e.g., JMS, Kafka)
  • 2+ years of experience with UI development using Angular or React
  • 2+ years of experience in database development utilizing PL/SQL and Oracle Databases
  • 1+ years of experience developing cloud-based applications and utilizing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium
  • Experience with Linux-based operating systems and associated development tools
  • Demonstrated experience in application support and resolving complex production environment issues
  • Proven experience applying design patterns to build reusable and high-performing frameworks
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with an ownership and accountability mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to lead technical discussions and influence decisions in a global team environment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
