Job description

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – School-Based

Location: New Braunfels, TX
School Year: 2026–2027
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Contract Length: 36 weeks

An educational organization in New Braunfels, TX is seeking Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) for full-time, in-person positions supporting students during the 2026–2027 school year. Multiple openings are available.

Position Details
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract Length: 36 weeks
  • Start Date: August 17, 2026
  • Setting: In-person, school-based
  • Openings Available: 2
  • Interview Process: Virtual
Assignment Overview
  • Caseload of approximately 85–100 students
  • Work directly under the supervision of licensed SLPs
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student outcomes
Responsibilities
  • Implement speech-language therapy plans directed by supervising SLP
  • Provide individual and group therapy services
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Prepare therapy materials and assist with screenings
  • Support IEP goals and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with staff and participate in student support activities
Requirements
  • Active SLPA certification/license
  • Completion of required clinical/fieldwork hours
  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred
  • Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Compensation
  • $45 per hour (local)
  • W-2 employment
