Minimum Qualifications

  • Active or expired Washington State Security Guard License required for hire
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
  • Professional appearance with strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine foot patrols throughout the property
  • Maintain a highly visible, professional security presence
  • Enforce site policies and quiet hours
  • Complete scheduled patrols and electronic tour checkpoints
  • Inspect doors, gates, fences, lighting, and common areas for security concerns
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, criminal behavior, safety hazards, and maintenance issues
  • Respond appropriately to incidents and contact law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
  • Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports
  • Communicate professionally with residents, visitors, clients, coworkers, and law enforcement
  • Help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents and guests
