Job description

Discover the advantages of Advanced Independent Practice - WAGI- powered by GI Alliance.
As a member of GI Alliance (GIA), WAGI is supported by the nation's leading patient-focused, excellence-driven gastroenterology network that is physician-led. This partnership empowers WAGI to deliver superior, individualized patient care by leveraging GI Alliance's robust, world-class business and organizational support, ensuring our physicians can focus on what they do best - providing top-notch care in a successful and dynamic private practice setting.
WAGI has multiple positions for Full-Time Board Eligible/Certified general Gastroenterologists available in our Bellevue, Puyallup and Tacoma locations to join and grow our well-established community-based practice with a partnership track. These positions are outpatient-based with a work/life balance achieved through a 4-day work week and call responsibilities no less than 1:6.
Washington Gastroenterology is the leading GI practice in Washington State. With over 30 Board-Certified Gastroenterologists and 20 Advanced Practitioners, we offer clinical, endoscopic and laboratory services from 15 locations in Western Washington. Clinical services include Hemorrhoid Banding, Capsule Endoscopy, Breath Test, Manometry/pH studies, ERCP, EUS and Infusion services. In our Endoscopy Centers, we utilize state-of-the-art technology and equipment to perform colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, flex sig and esophageal dilation.
WAGI locations are conveniently located; from the Puget Sound waters to Mount Rainier and everything in between, the area offers an abundance of recreational opportunity. The Puget Sound is home to the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Sounders FC, Seattle Mariners and the new NHL franchise, the Seattle Kraken. If you enjoy craft beer or wine, there are many breweries and tap rooms as well as many local wineries. If coffee is more your drink, you will have many local roasters to choose from. From the many amazing museums to the year-round outdoor adventures, Puget Sound has a little something for everyone.
Our Mission
We believe that digestive health is the foundation for a healthy life. By optimizing our collective experience, expertise and dedication to digestive health through the prevention, detection and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, we are committed to improving the quality of life of our patients and our communities.
Our Vision
To be the Northwest pre-eminent, independent, physician-led gastroenterology practice by promoting healthy living, providing ease of access, exploring the latest innovations in technology and remaining focused solely on preventing, detecting and treating digestive diseases.
Our Values
Compassion | Innovation | Dependability | Respect | Dedication | Collaboration

Employees (and their families) who work full time (defined as working 30 or more hours per week) will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and basic life insurance.
In addition, a 401(k) plan that provides maximum employer contributions for MD s.
Employed MD s receive 5 weeks of annual vacation time.
This salaried position has a compensation range of $475,000 - $550,000.
Patients Come First.
Every decision we make is anchored in strengthening patient care. Our physicians lead with a commitment to quality, access, and outcomes, and our shared infrastructure ensures they have the tools, data, and support to continually elevate care in every community we serve.
A Physician-Led Organization at Every Level.
Our model is built on physician leadership. Through our Physician Executive Committee, Regional Clinical Governance Boards, and Local Head Physicians, clinical decision-making remains with those who deliver care. This physician-led structure, supported by national-scale resources, preserves autonomy while strengthening specialty excellence.
True Partnership That Enables Physicians to Focus on Patients.
Instead of a traditional management model, we operate as a Management Services Organization (MSO). Our national infrastructure, which includes analytics, technology, revenue cycle, compliance, and operational support, reduces administrative burden so physicians can devote their time and expertise to patients. We enable, we support, and we align. We do not manage.
Outcomes Matter.
Our leadership is driven by the measurable value we deliver to physicians, practices, and patients. Our partnership-first approach, combined with data insights and operational strength, has fueled significant clinical, operational, and practice growth. As more top-tier physicians join our specialty-led ecosystem, we continue to expand access and raise the standard of specialty-care nationwide.
