We are assisting our valued client in finding their next great hire! Northern Nevada Regional MLS is looking for a Marketing Communications and Content Manager to join their team.

Northern Nevada Regional MLS is the largest Multiple Listing Service in Northern Nevada, supporting approximately 4,000 real estate professionals with the technology, data, training, and tools they need to do their work accurately and efficiently. About the Role
We are looking for a strong writer and careful communicator who can turn complex information into clear, polished content across email, social media, short-form video, web, and more. This is a hands-on communications role not a brand influencer position. The best fit is someone who is accurate first, creative second, and comfortable working independently.
If you have ever been described as "the person who catches the typos," "the one who makes the complicated stuff make sense," or "the editor everyone wants to review their work before it goes out" we want to hear from you.
Ideal backgrounds include: journalism, association communications, nonprofit or chamber communications, SaaS/product communications, customer education, content marketing, or local media.
What You'll Do
  • Write and edit member emails, newsletters, blog posts, social captions, training promotions, policy announcements, and short video scripts
  • Create simple, professional short-form educational videos (30-90 seconds) writing scripts, recording or coordinating clips, adding captions, and formatting for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts
  • Manage a practical content calendar and execute multi-channel campaigns
  • Build and send email campaigns; manage lists, segmentation, scheduling, and basic reporting
  • Repurpose content across formats (e.g., a newsletter item into a social post into a short video)
  • Collaborate with leadership, Member Support, and Compliance to produce accurate, on-time communications
What We're Looking For
Required:
  • 3+ years in communications, content writing, marketing communications, journalism, association communications, or a related field
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and self-editing skills with clean copy that needs minimal correction
  • Ability to make complex or technical information easy to understand
  • Strong attention to detail: grammar, spelling, formatting, tone, and accuracy
  • Comfortable learning digital tools (email platforms, CMS, social scheduling, Canva, etc.)
  • Must reside in the Reno/Sparks/Carson City or surrounding Northern Nevada area; in-office position
Nice to Have:
  • Background in MLS, real estate, SaaS, or membership/association organizations
  • Experience with short-form video creation
  • Portfolio or writing samples showing clear, practical, professional communication
