We are currently hiring experienced Shift Managers who can lead by example, support daily operations, develop team members, and help deliver exceptional guest experiences. At Captain Jay's, Shift Managers play a critical role in creating a positive team culture, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. This is more than a management position—it's an opportunity to build leadership skills, develop high-performing teams, and grow into future Assistant Manager and General Manager opportunities.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead daily shift operations and support restaurant performance.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
  • Ensure food quality, food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are consistently maintained.
  • Support staffing, onboarding, and training efforts.
  • Complete and verify opening, shift change, and closing procedures.
  • Create a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment.
  • Lead with a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and teamwork.
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Help drive sales, productivity, and operational excellence.

Qualifications:
  • Food service, restaurant, or hospitality management experience required.
  • Customer service experience (3+ years preferred).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Oversee inventory, stock levels, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with Captain Jay's standards and procedures.
