Description
Summary of Position
This position performs various testing, repair, fabrication, assembly and maintenance activities. Duties may also include safety and quality control inspections, operating automated machinery; various power/hand tools in compliance with company policy and established safety procedures.
Essential Functions
  1. Steaming/cleaning fishing and rental tools
  2. Set-up, program operator, and prep all assigned equipment and perform full operational checks making all necessary adjustments.
  3. Rebuild equipment using standard rebuild process.
  4. Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine necessary corrective action.
  5. Fabricate, and assemble new or modified mechanical components for products, such as industrial machine or equipment, and measuring instruments.
  6. Operate drill press, grinders, engine lathe, or other machines to modify parts tested or to fabricate parts.
  7. Inspect all assembly parts and report defective material or questionable component conditions to management.
  8. Read dials and meters to determine amperage, voltage, electrical output and input at specific operating temperature to analyze parts performance.
  9. Fabricate special fixtures needed to perform task completion.
  10. May be required to weld, cut, paint, and/or grind various raw building materials.
  11. Assist with special projects and cover for multiple positions when staffing levels are low/production or operating demands are accelerated.
  12. Observe and follow all company safety rules and policies.
  13. Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Skills/Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Prior experience in the oil and gas or related field preferred.
  • One year in a vocational/technical training program is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass Work Steps physical, including ability to lift 125 lbs.
  • Basic problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal/written English communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a safe driving record and be willing to submit to and able to pass a pre-employment drug test, MVR check and criminal background check
