Company Overview
WG&R Furniture is an employee-owned mattress manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for quality and craftsmanship. We are seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team in Two Rivers, WI.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision work, values consistency, and enjoys being part of a skilled manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for sewing mattress components using industrial equipment while meeting defined quality and production standards.
Purpose
Prepare high-quality mattress components through skilled sewing operations.
What You'll Do

  • Operate sewing machines and production equipment safely & efficiently
  • Sew mattress panels and components according to product specifications
  • Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, durability, and consistent quality
  • Follow standard work, safety procedures, and quality guidelines
  • Keep work area clean and organized to support efficiency and safety
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goal

What You'll Bring
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Prior experience operating industrial sewing machine is preferred
  • Enjoyment of hands-on, physical work; ability to operate pneumatic tools, machinery, & simple hand tools
  • Requires standing for extensive periods of time
  • Strong attention to detail & pride in quality work
