Job description

Position: ServiceNow Solution Architect
Location: Remote
Position Type: Contract/Fulltime
We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Solution Architect to lead a greenfield ServiceNow implementation project. The ideal candidate will define the overall architecture, ensure alignment with business objectives, and lead the technical delivery team through all phases of the implementation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the overall architect and technical lead for the ServiceNow implementation project.
  • Define platform strategy, architecture blueprint, and integration approach for a greenfield environment.
  • Lead requirement workshops, translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Design and govern data model, CSDM alignment, and CMDB strategy.
  • Oversee implementation of multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/SPM, HAM/SAM, etc.).
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Manage integration with third-party systems (monitoring tools, ERP, procurement, cloud platforms).
  • Provide technical leadership to developers, admins, and functional consultants.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, performance tuning, and risk mitigation.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for technical issues and design decisions.
  • Drive stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • experience as ServiceNow architecture and implementation leadership.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale ServiceNow implementations (greenfield preferred).
  • Expertise in multiple ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/SPM, HAM/SAM, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of CSDM, CMDB design, and integration patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and APIs.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
  • ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in multiple domains; Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.

Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to automation and orchestration strategies.

Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
  • ServiceNow CSA and CIS certifications required; Architect-level certifications preferred.
