Job Summary:
NLB Services is a company focused on helping customers accelerate their cloud migration journey. The Sr. AWS Solution Architect Engineer will work with strategic customers to assess their readiness for cloud adoption and develop comprehensive migration plans to modernize business applications on AWS.
Responsibilities:
• Work alongside our account executives and solution architects to help customers accelerate their cloud migration journey and modernize their business applications on AWS
• Work with our strategic customers, you will help the customer assess their readiness for Cloud adoption and advise and guide the customer in developing a strategic plan to transform IT processes and organization to support their Cloud adoption
• Focus on understanding customer business drivers as well as the compelling event/s driving their cloud adoption at the onset of a large migration engagement
• Work with the AWS team and customer to help develop a comprehensive migration plan, lowering risk and cost while accelerating adoption
• Gain hands-on technical credibility with internal as well as customer technical leaders
• Create documentation on migration best practices.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience in cloud migration and modernization of business applications on AWS
• Ability to assess customer readiness for Cloud adoption
• Experience in developing strategic plans for IT transformation to support Cloud adoption
• Understanding of customer business drivers and compelling events for cloud adoption
• Experience in developing comprehensive migration plans
• Ability to lower risk and cost while accelerating cloud adoption
• Hands-on technical credibility with internal and customer technical leaders
• Ability to create documentation on migration best practices
