Marine Corps University (MCU) / College of Distance Education and Training (CDET)

Location:Quantico, VA

Employment Type:Full-Time

Security Clearance:Active Secret (Tier 3) Clearance Required

**This position is contingent upon contract award.**


HatalomCorporation is seeking a Visitor Control Specialist to support Marine Corps University (MCU) and Education Command (EDCOM). This positionis responsible formanaging visitor access to a SECRET-accredited facility while ensuring compliance with Department of Defense, Department of the Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps security regulations.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Control visitor access by verifying security clearances, visit authorizations, and need-to-know.
  • Process andvalidatevisit requests using DISS and other approved security systems.
  • Issue, collect, andmaintainaccountability of visitor badges and access records.
  • Maintain daily visitor logs and prepare required security reports.
  • Enforce facility access control procedures and report security incidents or suspicious activity.
  • Coordinate with the Security Manager and Special Security Representative (SSR) on visitor control procedures.
  • Escort uncleared visitors within restricted areas asrequired.
  • Review visitor control procedures and recommend process improvements to enhance security and efficiency.


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in visitor control, physical security, access control, or security administration.
  • Familiarity with DoD security procedures and visitor processing systems, including DISS.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Active Secret (Tier 3) Security Clearance.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a DoD or Marine Corps secure facility.
  • Knowledge of DoD, DON, and USMC security regulations.
  • Experience working in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) or SECRET-accredited environment.
