Job Summary:
The main duties will involve conducting scheduled preventive visits to assess and maintain access control, intruder alarm, and CCTV systems, predominantly in commercial settings. Ensuring adherence to both company and industry benchmarks, all within specified timeframes, constitutes the primary responsibilities.

Requirements:
  • Have a passion for the trade and is a problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer communication skills and is a team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Have a good knowledge of CANASA and security industry Standards.
  • Electronic Installation Qualification(s) - or equivalent. (Preferred).
  • You should be able to manage your work and exhibit the companies' vision and values.
  • You must have experience working in a similar role in the security industry.
  • Multi-disciplined in the security industry from service, small works, fault-finding and maintenance, and having installation knowledge.
  • Hold a Full Clean Driving License - Essential for this post.
  • Must have the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Depending on experience, the person will be expected to deal with pre-booked preventative visits on small or large systems.
  • Must have excellent fault diagnosis skills, including working on more complex systems, and occasions will assist with the installation team on similar projects.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose access, CCTV and network systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks on DDC control systems.
  • Respond to after hour callouts.
  • Execute small installation projects.
  • Coordinate with customers and provide site recommendations.
  • Provide site information and technical information to sales.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry and Intruder Alarm Systems
  • Minimum 5-years' experience working within the Electronic Security Systems industry.
  • Knowledge and experience of Systems Networking and IP Configuration
  • Must be capable of obtaining a Federal Level II Security Clearance
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word.
