Position Summary

CanQualify is seeking a creative, organized, and strategic Brand & Content Marketing Specialist to lead the development of compelling content that strengthens our brand, builds customer trust, and supports business growth.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys telling stories, creating engaging content, building online communities, and translating complex ideas into messaging that resonates with customers. You'll work closely with leadership, sales, product, and customer success teams to develop content that educates, inspires, and positions CanQualify as a trusted industry leader.

Essential Responsibilities

Brand Storytelling & Content Marketing

  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels.
  • Create engaging written and visual content that communicates CanQualify's value proposition and industry expertise.
  • Write blogs, articles, website copy, newsletters, email campaigns, social media content, customer success stories, case studies, and executive messaging.
  • Translate technical product features into customer-focused content that is clear, engaging, and easy to understand.
  • Manage the editorial calendar and coordinate content production across departments.

Social Media & Community Engagement

  • Manage CanQualify's social media presence across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Develop content calendars that align with company initiatives, product launches, customer stories, and industry trends.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments when appropriate, and help foster an active online community.
  • Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, audience growth, and customer engagement.

Video & Multimedia Content

  • Plan, script, coordinate, and produce short-form and long-form video content.
  • Capture on-site video for customer testimonials, product demonstrations, company events, and educational content.
  • Edit videos for use across social media, the website, presentations, and training resources.
  • Support webinar production and other digital events.

Thought Leadership & Public Relations

  • Partner with company leaders to develop thought leadership articles, LinkedIn content, speaking materials, and industry insights.
  • Draft press releases, company announcements, award submissions, and media communications.
  • Identify opportunities for earned media coverage and industry recognition.
  • Promote company milestones, product launches, partnerships, and customer success stories.

Customer Advocacy & Brand Development

  • Conduct outreach to clients and contractors for interviews, case studies, and promotional opportunities.
  • Develop sales presentations, product demo materials, and branded marketing collateral that supports business development efforts.

Events & Live Marketing

  • Support planning and execution of tradeshows, conferences, webinars, and customer events.
  • Capture live event content including photography, video, interviews, and social media updates.
  • Assist with booth messaging, promotional materials, presentations, and post-event marketing campaigns.
  • Travel occasionally to support marketing initiatives and content creation.

Internal Knowledge & Enablement

  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, instructional videos, and knowledge base content.
  • Develop AI-enabled support materials and self-service resources for customers and internal teams.
  • Partner with product and customer success teams to continuously improve educational content and documentation.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 36 years of experience in content marketing, brand marketing, communications, or a related role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, messaging, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience creating B2B content across social media, websites, email campaigns, presentations, blogs, and video.
  • Experience managing social media content calendars and audience engagement.
  • Ability to simplify technical or complex topics into compelling customer-focused messaging.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Basic understanding of SEO, content strategy, analytics, and lead generation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with marketing platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for tradeshows, customer visits, and content capture.

  • Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, compliance, or software companies.
