VizzaLights is seeking a talented Commercial Videographer & Content Creator to produce visually striking advertising and social media content for a premium architectural lighting company preparing for nationwide growth.
We are looking for much more than someone who can operate a camera. The right candidate is a visual storyteller who can develop an idea, plan a production, capture exceptional footage, direct on-camera talent, and edit the finished piece into persuasive commercial content.
You will create polished brand films, digital commercials, installation stories, customer testimonials, product demonstrations, and high-performing social media content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop original video concepts for brand awareness, advertising, product education, sales, recruitment, and social media.
  • Produce visually compelling commercial-quality videos for websites, streaming platforms, digital advertising, presentations, and social channels.
  • Create short-form vertical content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
  • Plan productions through treatments, scripts, storyboards, shot lists, schedules, and location preparation.
  • Film residential and commercial lighting installations during daylight, blue hour, and nighttime conditions.
  • Capture before-and-after transformations, installation processes, customer reactions, testimonials, and team stories.
  • Direct interviews, voiceovers, demonstrations, employees, customers, and on-camera talent.
  • Edit long-form and short-form content with strong pacing, music, sound design, color correction, titles, motion graphics, and calls to action.
  • Create multiple versions and aspect ratios for different advertising and social platforms.
  • Capture high-quality still photography when needed.
  • Organize footage, project files, releases, music licenses, backups, and finished asset libraries.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Design Lead to maintain a consistent visual identity.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist to align every production with its audience, campaign goal, platform, offer, and performance objective.
  • Monitor content performance and adapt creative approaches based on results.
  • Travel to installations, events, customer locations, and future markets as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • A strong portfolio or reel featuring commercial, branded, promotional, or social media content.
  • Professional experience with videography, lighting, audio recording, composition, and post-production.
  • Advanced editing ability using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable software.
  • Strong understanding of color grading, especially for dusk, nighttime, and architectural footage.
  • Ability to create both polished commercial work and fast, platform-native social content.
  • Experience developing concepts and carrying projects from preproduction through final delivery.
  • Understanding of visual storytelling, hooks, pacing, audience retention, and calls to action.
  • Ability to capture clean interviews and direct people who may not be experienced on camera.
  • Working knowledge of cameras, lenses, stabilization, drones, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Strong file-management and project-organization habits.
  • Ability to work in-house in Jacksonville and film during evenings or weekends when lighting conditions or events require it.
  • A valid driver’s license and ability to travel to filming locations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience producing television, streaming, paid-social, or digital commercials.
  • Licensed drone pilot or experience coordinating compliant aerial production.
  • Photography and advanced photo-retouching skills.
  • Motion graphics, animation, visual effects, or 3D experience.
  • Experience writing scripts, interview questions, captions, and advertising hooks.
  • Knowledge of Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and connected-TV creative requirements.
  • Experience with home-service, architectural, construction, luxury, technology, or lifestyle brands.
  • Experience managing content calendars or publishing to social platforms.
  • Familiarity with content analytics, creative testing, and performance marketing.
