Schlesinger's Steakhouse, Newport News' Premier Chophouse, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our loving kitchen team. Enjoy a professional and respectful work atmosphere while gaining valuable skills in restaurant operations. With flexible scheduling and employee dining discounts, this role offers both personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Keep the dish area clean, organized, and efficient throughout shifts
- Support the kitchen team by assisting with cleaning and restocking duties
- Maintain cleanliness in prep and service areas following sanitation and food safety guidelines
What We’re Looking For
- Dependable attendance and punctuality with a strong work ethic
- Excellent attention to detail and passion for cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and enthusiastic environment
- Team-oriented attitude, willing to help where needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment as required
