Magretech is a magnesium recycler based in Bellevue, Ohio that services the die casting, aluminum, sand casting, and aerospace industry. The company supplies secondary magnesium ingot while also providing tolling and chip recycling services. Our products are completely made of scrap.

Job Description:

The Entry-Level Maintenance Worker will perform basic repairs of equipment, welding of consumable items, repair and rebuild of pumps, preventative maintenance on equipment, and complete work orders directed by maintenance lead, supervisors, or managers.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Cut, bend, and weld pipe and fittings according to drawings.

Perform daily walk through and communicate with production supervisors

Use upkeep to track daily activities and create work orders.

Repair of pumps including new motors, wiring, shafts, etc.

Effectively communicate needs of supply items.

Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule.

Complete work orders generated in upkeep and/or communicated by supervisors or managers.

Keep shop clean and organized.

Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.

Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.

Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing basic electrical equipment, replacement of 3-phase motors.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.

Ability to mig weld.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Related experience preferred.

On-the-job training offered.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing and walking.

Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Royalty Incentive

  • One time bonus of $3,000
