Job description

Salon Coordinator - Osgood O'Neil Salon
Are you a master of first impressions with a passion for the beauty industry?
Must have high-end luxury customer service experience.

If you can pair a genuine smile with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, luxury environment, you may be the perfect fit for Osgood O'Neil Salon. We are looking for a reliable, high-energy individual to join our front-of-house team and serve as the heartbeat of our salon operations.
The Role
As a Salon Coordinator, you are more than a receptionist-you are a brand ambassador. You will manage the guest experience from start to finish, ensuring every client feels welcomed, informed, and pampered.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Relations: Greet every guest with warmth and professionalism; manage check-in/check-out seamlessly.
  • Expert Guidance: Educate guests on our premium product lines, including Davines and Oribe.
  • Strategic Scheduling: Handle high-volume calls with courtesy, managing complex calendars and prioritizing "pre-booking" to support our stylists' growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Utilize Point of Sale (POS) software for transactions, maintain a balanced cash drawer, and ensure daily reports are 100% accurate.
  • Salon Support: Maintain a pristine, organized facility and assist floor staff and management with daily operational needs.
What Success Looks Like
  • Happy Guests: Clients leave feeling satisfied, well-educated on products, and excited for their next visit.
  • Team Reliability: You are the "go-to" person your team can count on during the busiest hours.
  • Pristine Environment: Your workspace and the retail gallery remain in "photoshoot-ready" condition.
Position Requirements
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience is a must.
  • Availability: Full-time (40 hours/week). Must be available for evening and weekend shifts (including shifts past 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM).
  • Physicality: Ability to stand for long periods and navigate stairs comfortably.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning and using salon booking and POS software.
  • Compensation: Starting hourly rate is negotiable based on your level of experience.
What We Offer
We value our employees and provide a robust benefits package for full-time staff:
  • Health & Wellness: Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
  • Security: 401K plans and Employer-Sponsored Life Insurance.
  • Work-Life Balance: Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Perks: Generous discounts on world-class products and salon services.
