Rural hospital located several hundred miles northwest of Anchorage, AK seeking a full\-time, Medical Laboratory Technician join their team.

    Medical Laboratory Technician Opportunity:<\/b>
    <\/p>\n

      \n
    • Perform and validate chemical, microscopic, morphologic, immunologic, and bacteriologic tests of body fluids and substances to provide data for diagnosis and treatment of disease
      <\/li>\n
    • Verify test procedures for accuracy of each test and test system as it pertains to the specialty assigned
      <\/li>\n
    • Medical Laboratory Technician will report results, maintain records, and assist with distributing test reports
      <\/li>\n
    • Assist in resolving technical problems, monitor test analysis and specimen examination through evaluation of proficiency testing and ensure that remedial action is taken and communicated to all testing personnel when necessary
      <\/li>\n <\/ul>

      Medical Laboratory Technician Qualifications:<\/b>
      <\/p>\n

      • Must have ASCP or AMT
        <\/li>\n
      • Medical Laboratory Technician does not need to be licensed in Alaska
        <\/li>\n
      • Lift or carry unaided 25 to 50 pounds
        <\/li>\n
      • View electronic monitors for prolonged periods of time
        <\/li>\n
      • Open to new grads
        <\/li>\n <\/ul>
