Job description

We are currently hiring Full-Time Safe School Guardians to join our team and help protect students, staff, and school communities in a professional and supportive environment.

Current openings are available in:
  • Broward County
  • Tallahassee
  • Manatee County
  • West Palm Beach
  • Compensation
  • $27.00 per hour
  • $3,000 Guardian Incentive Bonus, paid as follows: o$150 Contract Signing Bonus (paid after signing your employment agreement and completing all preemployment requirements)
  • $1,425 Retention Bonus paid on January 30, 2027
  • $1,425 Retention Bonus paid on July 30, 2027

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Florida Class D Security License
  • Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) Permit
  • Guardian Safe School Officer Training Certificate (Aaron Feis Program)
  • At least 3 years of combined experience in law enforcement, armed security, corrections, military, or emergency response
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Legally to work in the United States
  • Ability to pass a background investigation, psychological evaluation, and drug screening
  • Must provide your own duty firearm, Level III retention holster, duty belt, and five magazines
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible security presence throughout assigned school campuses.
  • Patrol school buildings and grounds to ensure a safe environment.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and security concerns.
  • Monitor and enforce school safety policies and procedures.
  • Use effective communication and deescalation techniques to resolve conflicts.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, and visitors.
  • Assist with emergency drills and campus safety initiatives.
  • Complete incident reports and required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of school safety and security.
  • Responsibilities may vary based on operational needs and school requirements.
