Job Description

Vintners Logistics located in Kennewick Washington provides Warehousing, Transportation, Distribution & Special Project Services to an array of industries, with a specialization wine, food processing, confection & pharmaceutical industries. We are seeking to add a full time CDL A driver to our Kennewick, WA location to better serve our customers. We are seeking more than a truck driver; we are seeking a professional employee dedicated to Safety, Service and Sanitation. Driving truck is an important part of the job, but not the only one.

Having just celebrated 19 years in business, we continue to seek qualified long term employees who are passionate about providing excellent service for our customers. We are committed to providing a great and positive place to work, wonderful customers, safe equipment, training and a competitive compensation package. As an almost unheard of bonus, our drivers are home most nights and off weekends outside of harvest season!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • FMSCA Compliant
  • Pre/ Post Trip equipment inspection
  • HOS Compliant
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • TL and LTL routes, lift-gate
  • Hand truck, pallet jack, some routes require pallet breakdown
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Class A CDL
  • Must be able to pass Pre- Employment Drug Screen and random as required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Can lift and bend to handle heavy items such as barrel, approx. 120 lbs.
  • Climb in and out of trailers, push pull pallet jack approximately 100-200 lbs. force
  • Strong willingness to work, self-motivated.
  • Must possess basic math skills
  • Must possess basic writing skills
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Proficiency testing required in interview.
  • If Bilingual in Spanish, that would be very beneficial!

Wage and Benefits:

We pay our drivers by the hour, overtime over 40 hours worked per week.

Pay Range depends on experience, $26.20 - $29.59 per hour base wage, plus overtime, bonus & monthly cell phone stipend (see below).

Current Stipend & Bonus Structure:

  • Cell phone stipend $35 per month.
  • Bonus $50 per LTL Daily Route Worked
  • $40 per Overnight

Rate Range Advertised Reflected of Rates Inclusive of Bonus & Stipend
