As a fast-growing Series B startup, we’re looking for hands-on team members who are energized by growth, innovation, and real-world impact.

Position Overview: We’re hiring experienced Moving Excellence Leads to join our growing team and help deliver top-tier moving and storage services. In this role, you’ll take charge of on-site job execution — leading moving teams, coordinating delivery logistics, and ensuring that each customer’s experience is smooth, professional, and stress-free. You’ll act as the face of Flex in the field, combining leadership, problem-solving, and customer service to ensure successful job outcomes across residential and commercial moves.

Pay Range: $21-24 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee customer job sites, including trailer deliveries, pickups, and full-service moves.
  • Manage third-party labor teams and ensure safe, professional handling of all items.
  • Ensure jobs are completed on time and to spec, providing on-site quality control and accountability.
  • Direct and support labor teams throughout each job.
  • Train and coach team members on safety, proper lifting techniques, and customer service expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and respectful working environment on every site.
  • Operate pickup trucks and/or box trucks (with or without trailers) as part of job execution.
  • Safely transport equipment and materials between customer locations, parking lots, and staging areas.
  • Ensure all driving complies with DOT and Flex standards.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for the customer throughout the job.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers to set expectations and resolve any concerns.
  • Represent Flex’s values of professionalism, reliability, and innovation.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and use required protective equipment.
  • Conduct pre-job safety walkthroughs and identify any risks or concerns before starting work.
  • Report any incidents or job exceptions promptly to HQ/Operations.

Qualifications

  • Required: 2+ years of experience in the moving or storage industry
  • Preferred: 2+ years in a team lead or supervisory role
  • Required: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Preferred: Experience driving box trucks or pickup trucks with trailers
  • Ability meet the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using a smartphone and apps for scheduling, tracking, etc. (Slack, Back Office system, etc.)
  • Strong decision-making skills in dynamic, real-time job environments
