Job description

Join Our Team as a Family Medicine-Obstetrics Physician

We are excited to announce that our organization is seeking Family Medicine-Obstetrics (FM-OB) physicians to become part of our expanding regional practice locations. We have openings for both Surgical and Non-Surgical FM-OB specialists, who will collaborate with fellow FM-OB and OB/GYN physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide care in an outpatient clinic setting.
  • Engage in scheduled operating room time, including C-sections and gynecological procedures, if applicable.
  • Participate in a call rotation alongside current FM-OB and OB/GYN physicians.
  • Contribute to the development of our Rural Track FM-OB Residency program, in collaboration with UR Medicine Noyes Health and Tri-County Family Medicine in Dansville, NY.
  • Involve in direct patient care and resident education at clinical sites in Dansville and nearby areas.
  • Join a regional OB call rotation with existing FM-OB and OB/GYN providers at Noyes.
  • Explore potential leadership roles for those interested in advancing their careers.
Additional Opportunities

We are also looking for candidates for our affiliate, UR Medicine Jones Memorial Hospital, located in Wellsville, NY. As the primary hospital and Women's Health provider in Allegany County, they are broadening services in the western part of the county, including the communities of Cuba and Fillmore.

  • Experience a community practice that integrates Primary Care with Women's Health and OB services.
  • Participate in an OB call rotation with current OB/GYNs, FM-OBs, and CNMs at Jones Memorial Hospital.
  • Engage in teaching opportunities with UR Medicine Maternal Child Health Fellows, as well as medical students and NP/PA students.
