Northeastern Rural Health Clinics – Susanville, California 

Position Summary 

Northeastern Rural Health Clinics (NRHC) is seeking a full-time Dentist to join our dental team in Susanville, California. 

The Dentist will provide general dental care to children and adults, including exams, treatment planning, preventive and restorative care, and extractions. 

Dentists typically see approximately 20 patients per day. [Placeholder—subject to confirmation.] 

This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule. 

Compensation and Benefits 

  • Full-time salary of $[SALARY RANGE] 

  • $20,000 sign-on bonus, depending on eligibility 

  • Relocation assistance up to $10,000

About NRHC 

NRHC is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center that has served Lassen County and the surrounding area for nearly 50 years. We are the largest provider of outpatient healthcare services in Lassen County, with clinics in Susanville and Westwood.

Susanville is a rural Northern California community surrounded by mountains, lakes, forests, and trails. The area offers year-round opportunities for hiking, fishing, boating, camping, and other outdoor activities. Susanville has the close-knit feel of a small town, where healthcare providers become part of the community. 

Qualifications 

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school 

  • Current California dental license, or the ability to obtain one 

  • Current DEA registration, or the ability to obtain one 

  • Current BLS certification, or the ability to obtain it 

  • Ability to meet NRHC credentialing and privileging requirements 

  • Ability to provide general dental care to children and adults 

  • Commitment to providing quality care to rural and underserved patients
