Job description

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH)  is hiring a Front Office Clerk to join our Urology Surgical Clinic in Bolivar, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve. 

Position Details 

  • Status: Full Time  

  • Work Shift: Days  

  • Hours: 8:00a.m - 4:30p.m 

What Your Day Looks Like: CMH Urology Surgical Clinic provides a variety of services for patients suffering from; urinary incontinence, Erectile Dysfunction, BPH, Peyronies, kidney stone management, hematuria, management of prostate and bladder cancer, and more. We also specialize in many state-of-the-art surgical procedures including; Urolift, Interstim, iTind, Botox, vasectomy, bladder sling, robotic assisted prostatectomy, and penile prosthetics.  
Our office consists of one physician, two registered nurses, one advanced practice provider, one registered medical assistant, and two front office staff. 

As a Clerk, you will be:  

  • Working closely with the physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and registered medical assistants 

  • Answering the telephone and routing to appropriate people 

  • Scheduling office visits, clinic procedures, updating consents, patient insurance, and demographics. 

  • Collecting clinic co-pays, obtaining medical records, and assisting with coordination of referrals.  

  • Obtaining prior authorizations from the Veterans Administration for procedures. 

Qualifications: 

Education: High School diploma or equivalent 

Experience: 1 year customer service in healthcare or clerical 

Skills: Organization, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking 

Licensure/Certification: N/A 

Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
