Registered Nurse - Telemetry/Orthopedic

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry and Orthopedic care. The nurse will provide direct patient care in a hospital setting, ensuring patient comfort and safety while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Shift

DAYS 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (low census 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM)

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within a 45-bed facility.
  • Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaboration with medical staff and family members to implement care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using MEDHOST EMR.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, including required certifications.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Active RN license.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Med-Surge, Telemetry, or Orthopedic nursing.
  • Experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients is preferred.
  • Ability to float to other units as necessary.
