5 Star Rated Long Term Care nursing facility is seeking for motivated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing staff and provide direct care to residents while promoting the highest level of functioning.

We are currently seeking Part Time or Full Time RNs for All Shifts (7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am). Must be able to work alternate weekend!!

Responsibility:

  • Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility.
  • Ensure that the written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of the nursing service department are followed by all nursing personnel assigned to you.
  • Ensure that the Nursing Service Procedures Manual is followed in rendering nursing care. Cooperate with other resident services when coordinating nursing services to ensure that the resident’s total regimen of care is maintained.
  • Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, charting, etc., as necessary. Participate in the facility’s quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
  • Complete the nursing services portion of the resident’s discharge plan as necessary. Monitor nursing care to assure that all residents are treated fairly, and with kindness, dignity, and respect.
  • Provide data to the Quality Assurance & Assessment Committee as required. Prefer but not required, one year experience in a Nursing Home health-related facility.
  • Salary is based on experience.

Requirements

  • Preferred to have experience in a Long Term Care environment, but New Grads are welcome!
  • Must possess and maintain a current NYS license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Must be able to move, lift and position patients.
  • Knowledge of Sigma Care is Preferred.
