Behavioral Health RN โ€“ Night Shifts - Terre Haute, IN

Direct Hire | Full-Time | Night Shifts

A well-known, community-focused hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana is hiring Behavioral Health Registered Nurses for permanent, full-time day and night shift roles. This opportunity offers strong onboarding, supportive leadership, and long-term career growth in a collaborative acute-care environment.

Pay: Up to $45/hour base pay + $5 weekend and night shift differential

Unit Overview- 

Registered Nurse responsible for providing psychiatric nursing care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for patients.

Experience & Skills- 

-Demonstrates clinical knowledge of psychiatric nursing, including growth and development, psychopathology, and psychosocial systems

- Displays effective communication skills and maintains therapeutic relationships with patients, families, physicians, and staff

- Able to set limits as needed by recognizing potential behavior problems and responding in a caring and consistent manner

- Utilizes the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with timely documentation

- Competent in restraint/seclusion and follows hospital policy

- Demonstrates skills in admission, discharge, and transfer of patients

Shift Details-

12-hour shifts- 7:00P-7:30A-Night and weekend shift differentials offered 

Compensation & Benefits- 

- Hourly rate up to $45/hour (DOE)- Shift differentials available (up to $10/hr)

Requirements- 

- Active Indiana RN license (or compact eligible)

- BLS certification (required)

- Graduate of an accredited ASN/ADN or BSN nursing program

- Previous RN experience preferred

- New grads may be considered based on unit and orientation availability
