NEW OPPORTUNITY ALERT!! Saint Luke's Home Care and Hospice is seeking a full time RN to join their team!
  • RN Compact or MO and KS required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Family Care Safety Registry required
  • Prior hospice experience preferred
  • FT Overnight/Call
  • 7 nights on 7 nights off
The Opportunity:
Saint Luke's Home Care and Hospice has an exciting new opportunity for a full-time Registered Nurse to take overnight and weekend call and make hospice and home care visits in the Kansas City metropolitan area. This position is part of our Seven-On/Seven-Off alternative staffing plan, which offers superb work-life balance and flexibility.
Shift: An employee accepted into this role will be scheduled to work seven consecutive days. Hours will be Friday 5pm though Friday 8a, this would include Saturday and Sunday 8a-5p. You will make hospice visits while on call during the week and will help on weekends by making home care and hospice visits. You will then be off for the following seven days so you will enjoy 26 weeks of time off per year with the opportunity to pick up extra visits during your off weeks if you desire.
The Work:
  • Taking home care and hospice call during night hours and weekends. Triaging calls and meeting the callers needs as appropriate.
  • Performing hospice visit at night and on weekends.
  • Performing start of care and routine home care visits on weekends.
  • Performing appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures including wound and ostomy care on weekends.
  • Educating the patient and family members on following the care plan and medication administration.
  • Candidates must have an active Missouri and Kansas RN License.
