Job Summary:
POLITICO is a leading news organization seeking an MBA Fellow for a Business Analyst role. The position focuses on analyzing the value of digital newsletters and their impact on audience engagement and loyalty within the journalism landscape.
Responsibilities:
• Identify how newsletters fit into POLITICO’s broader journalism and product ecosystem
• Analyze how newsletters support trust, authority, and habit formation compared to other digital formats
• Conduct competitive analysis of peer publishers’ newsletter offerings (format, voice, cadence, audience role)
• Evaluate how emerging tools (including AI-assisted workflows or insights) could responsibly support newsletter production, personalization, or audience understanding without replacing editorial judgment
• Distill findings into a clear narrative about the role and value of newsletters in modern journalism
Qualifications:
Required:
