The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care plan of patients within the Emergency Department. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by Nursing Assistants and supportive staff members. Population: Patients with life-threatening emergent, urgent, semi-urgent and non-urgent conditions of all ages served within the department, neonates to geriatrics.
