JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Registered Nurse - Inpatient Surgical Unit

RN - INPT OR

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Inpatient Surgical Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment & Care: Perform comprehensive assessments on pre- and post-operative patients, implementing care plans, managing IVs, and changing dressings.
  • Monitoring & Safety: Monitor patients for complications, manage pain, and respond to deteriorating conditions.
  • Discharge Planning & Education: Educate patients and families on post-surgery care, medications, and recovery, ensuring a smooth transition home.
  • Collaboration: Work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
  • Documentation: Accurately update patient files and records in compliance with hospital standards.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

Registered Nurse - Inpatient Surgical Unit

RN - INPT OR

Full-Time

Registered Nurse candidates for the Inpatient Surgical Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

  • · Must have 1 year of recent (Within the last 2 years) Acute Care RN Experience.
  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred.
  • BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required prior to start
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
