Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements and third-party financial data for public and private domestic and international customers to assess credit risk
  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits, terms, and risk ratings in accordance with company policy
  • Manage and monitor a portfolio of accounts, proactively identifying changes in financial condition, payment behavior, or business risk
  • Recommend changes to risk ratings and credit limits based on payment trends, business type, terms, and other factors.
  • Review payment trends, industry conditions, and customer structures to support informed credit decisions
  • Prepare journal entries within company policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate credit decisions, risk concerns, and financial requirements clearly and professionally to branch offices and internal partners
  • Respond to credit-related inquiries from branch locations, providing timely and solutions-oriented support
  • Draft internal documents such as Non-Disclosure Agreements and Letters of Guarantee
  • Escalate higher-risk or more complex credit matters to senior analysts when appropriate
  • Perform additional projects and duties as assigned

Location Requirement:
This position is in-office at our branch located in Scottsdale, AZ. Remote work is not available. Candidates must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of progressive credit, financial analysis, or related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret financial statements and credit reports
  • Strong working knowledge of credit risk principles and internal controls
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer service orientation with professional judgment
  • Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance
  • Aptitude for learning new systems and adapting in a fast-paced environment
