Job description

Position Summary
TRG is hiring a Forklift Operator ( Raymond Walkie ) for our client based in Mississauga, ON. This position involves driving a powered industrial truck equipped with forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse or factory.
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shift: Day- 6:00am-2:00pm
Afternoon- 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Night- 10:00pm – 6:00am
Schedule: Mon to Fri
Pay rate: $20- $21 /hr
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Order picking using forklift and loads and unloads skids/pallets on/off trailers and transports to various areas within the plant.
  • Places and removes skids from assigned bunks in safe manner.
  • Ensures counts are accurate on materials being received and shipped.
  • Wraps and straps completed skids from production line.
  • May be required to work on the production assembly line.
  • Exercises care for the safety of personnel, property and materials at all times.
  • Enters data into company systems as directed.
  • Completes daily maintenance check on the equipment and reports issues/problems to Manager.
  • Cleans up work area at the end of the shift as directed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Minimum of 2-3 years driving experience of driving machines (Raymond Walkie )
  • Valid Forklift Licence for Raymond Walkie
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience using RF Scanner and SAP platform.
  • Computer literate in word and excel applications.
  • Knowledge of warehouse software applications.
  • Knowledge of Shipping and receiving documentation and Knowledge of inventory would be an asset.
